MEGAN MONAGHAN

Megan graduated from Boston College with a degree in English literature and worked briefly in publishing before realizing that she wanted to work with students and belonged in the classroom. Megan holds two Masters degrees from Columbia University in Childhood Development and Reading Disabilities. She began teaching fourth grade at Rye Country Day before moving into middle school. Since then, Megan has taught at St. Hilda’s and St. Hugh’s in Manhattan and Sacred Heart Greenwich. She has taught fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Megan especially loves teaching writing and matching students with a great book. She is trained in PAF, Lindamood Bell, and Orton Gillingham. When she isn’t reading or teaching, Megan can be found running after her three children and her dog!
